Additionally, Merchandise Planner - Deli may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. We are seeking a motivated Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and food industry experience.Responsibilities:
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their deli orders
- Utilize retail math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Demonstrate sales skills by upselling products and promotions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitize work areas
- Assist in food preparation and packaging
- Help customers with product selection and provide recommendationsExperience:
- Previous experience in a deli or food service setting is preferred
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash register operation
- Strong cash handling skills
- Knowledge of retail math for accurate transactions
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and upsell products

Pay: $17.31 - $20.84 per hour
