Merchandise Planner - Bakery jobs in Galveston, TX

Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring the performance of the planning team and implementing process improvements. They will utilize tools to manage the maintenance backlog, populate KPI’s performance measuring tools and develop new processes to assist management in decision making. They will be expected to produce quality work, work well with others, and be willing to continuously improve.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Run reports and analyze data from SAP
• Building & managing maintenance schedules in P6
• Estimating all crafts for small maintenance/capital cross over projects
• Compile monthly KPI’s and verify data is accurate
• Monitor maintenance planning efficiency, reviewing backlogs in SAP, closing work orders, schedule compliance
• Resource forecasting for maintenance activities
• Coordinate and communicate with Construction Engineers, block leaders and execution supervisors regarding field needs and sequencing of projects
• Driving consistency across all planning processes

• Previous Planning experience in SAP or Maximo
• Primavera P6 Scheduling experience
• Strong knowledge of foundations/concrete/forms, structural (pipe racks and main framework) and piping
• Ability to interact with customers, vendors and inter-company personnel on a professional level
• Ability to work in a group environment and willingness to share knowledge and learn from others
• Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Office and Excel
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• The ability and willingness to work under tight time restraints
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
• Comfortable walking down packages within unit and abiding by all safety requirements
