Merchandise Planner - Bakery jobs in Eugene, OR

Metropol Bakery is a woman-owned and women-run scratch bakery that uses classic traditional techniques and our fare doesn’t require any fondant, or the likes. We are looking to hire a long term individual to join our team at Metropol Bakery as a Cake Baker!

-Available to work leading up to and on holidays. This is a dealbreaker, we are busiest during holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Mother’s Day, etc) therefore, it is crucial that you are available and wanting to work during these times.

-Kitchen experience helpful, willing to train an ideal candidate.

-Must be able to lift at least 55lbs with ease.

-Comfortable standing for long periods of time.

-Takes direction well and applies it.

-Works well in a team and alone.

-Good at multitasking.

-Works well under pressure. Be that the hustle and bustle of the holidays, or multiple cake orders for that day.

The shift usually begins at 7am and ends around 3pm depending on orders and projects for that day as well as clean up. Start times can and will change during the holidays, the shift beginning as early as 4am. Schedules will have to be adjusted due to callouts and/or demand of products.

We are looking to hire someone to work 4 days a week, although it could be 5 days a week while training.
