We are seeking a Bakery Assistant to join our team. As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our bakery. You will assist with food preparation, customer service, and cash handling. Duties:
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, answering questions and assisting with product selection
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and rotating products
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a bakery or culinary environment is preferred
- Familiarity with cash register operation and basic math skills
- Knowledge of POS systems, such as Toast POS, is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
