Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious cakes for our customers. Duties: - Bake and prepare cakes according to established recipes and guidelines - Decorate cakes using various techniques, such as piping, fondant, and icing - Create custom designs based on customer requests and preferences - Ensure cakes are finished and presented in a professional and attractive manner - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cake decorating area - Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production and delivery of cakes - Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with cake selection and answering any questions they may have Skills: - Previous experience in a kitchen or food production environment, preferably in the food industry or catering - Strong knowledge of cake decorating techniques, including piping, fondant, and icing - Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations - Excellent attention to detail and artistic ability - Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cake orders simultaneously - Good knife skills for trimming cakes and creating smooth edges - Knowledge of proper food handling procedures - Culinary creativity to develop unique cake designs Join our team as a Cake Decorator and let your creativity shine while delighting our customers with beautiful and delicious cakes!
