CARDINAL ETHANOL in Colwich, Kansas is hiring a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Maintenance, Repair and Operations Buyer. As a Buyer, you will be responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for our operations. Your role will involve working closely with suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for supply chain management.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Degree in business or supply chain preferred.
• Minimum five years' MRO procurement or similar experience.
• Professional certification(s) preferred (i.e., CRFP, CPSM, APICS) helpful.

Position Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar procurement role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, systems, and best practices.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Familiarity with quality management principles and practices.
• Proficient in using procurement software systems.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Intermediate skills in Office 365 environment, CMMS preferred, or other procurement applications helpful.
• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills are essential for the buyer's success.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
