Job Responsibilities:

Perform replenishment buying
-
Maintain and update information in replenishment system
-
Manage inventory: turns, spoils, aged, and overstocks
-
Identify inventory issues and offer solutions to resolve
-
Work with customer on product set up, inventory, forecasting, promotions, and distributions

Item and vendor setup and maintenance

Manage open orders, follow up with vendors on open, late, shorted, or critical orders

Achieve or exceed company standards for fill rate
-
Maintain sound business relationships with vendors

Work with other departments within the company as needed

Performs other related duties as assigned
The ideal candidate should posses:
- Intermediate to advanced user level in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook

10 key and basic math skills required

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in a professional manner

Ability to be self-directed and self-motivated, as well as work with a team across multiple departments

Ability to coordinate multiple activities and projects simultaneously and prioritize work with ever-changing deadlines
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years college or equivalent relevant recent wholesale/retail business experience
Preferred Qualifications
Warehouse management system experience preferred; AS400 or SAP experience a plus
