Job Responsibilities:

• Perform replenishment buying
• Maintain and update information in replenishment system
• Manage inventory: turns, spoils, aged, and overstocks
• Identify inventory issues and offer solutions to resolve
• Work with customer on product set up, inventory, forecasting, promotions, and distributions
• Item and vendor setup and maintenance
• Manage open orders, follow up with vendors on open, late, shorted, or critical orders
• Achieve or exceed company standards for fill rate
• Maintain sound business relationships with vendors
• Work with other departments within the company as needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned

The ideal candidate should posses:

• Intermediate to advanced user level in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• 10 key and basic math skills required
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in a professional manner
• Ability to be self-directed and self-motivated, as well as work with a team across multiple departments
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and projects simultaneously and prioritize work with ever-changing deadlines

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years college or equivalent relevant recent wholesale/retail business experience

Preferred Qualifications

Warehouse management system experience preferred; AS400 or SAP experience a plus
