Merchandise Buyer Assistant, Sr. assists merchandise buyers in selecting merchandise, placing orders, and distributing inventory. Responsible for inventory replenishment with open-to-buy responsibilities over a segment of the buyer's department. MAJOR AREAS RESPONSIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
1) Bachelor’s degree in business or related field- preferred
2) 4 years purchasing experience in an industrial distribution or manufacturing environment. Prefer experience at an ISO certified company.
3) Experience with managing inventory and inventory turns
4) Leading/ mentoring buyers knowledge is preferred
