The Hews Company, a 97 yr old family owned and operated business, is a leader in the truck equipment industry. We manufacture and sell truck bodies and equipment as well as provide service & repairs to trucks and sell parts over the counter. We have locations in South Portland, ME and Bow, NH. This position is located in our South Portland office.
The Buyer is a key role that creates PO's and places orders for all departments and locations. This person is also involved in warranty administration , issuing parts to jobs, managing and updating pricing and other related tasks. This role interacts with all departments in the company including Sales, Parts, Service, AP, Technicians and Management.
The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
