Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Input purchase orders, proof daily receiving report, resolve issues as a group
Handles not-on-file and price discrepancies as top priority
Verifies that each new and existing item has the proper attributes programmed for food stamps, taxes and department status
Supply store locations with vendor prices
Compile reports for buying and or operating departments
Complete work order through help desk and resolve cares
Maintains movement reports on items scheduled for deletion from the item file
Weekly maintenance of SMS reports, meat surveys, price changes and ad noticesAttend required department meetings / buying & SMS
Maintain receiving, variance sheets, vendor batches and update SMS daily
Participates in training activities to increase personal skill levels improving overall store operations and customer service
Set up contracts and obtain quotes from freight companies.
