    Job Title: Allocator, Full Price Specialty

    Primary Purpose: properly allocate merchandise and balance store inventory in order to maximize sales, gross margin and inventory turn for kate spade full price stores.

    • Allocate merchandise to department and class plans utilizing allocation tools to determine needs and capacity of stores, based on trend and plan.
    • Develop deep knowledge and understanding of store clustering by department, ensuring allocations align with assortment strategies.
    • Collaborate with buying team during monthly allocation meetings to review allocation strategies of new product.
    • Evaluate current and future weeks of supply needs by store and collaborate with planning, store planning and buying to evaluate future allocations and transfer opportunities.
    • Ensure timely delivery of product to stores, building a relationship with warehouse teams, developing and adhering to time and action calendars, and providing monthly allocation forecasts.
    • Develop relationships with field teams, to analyze and validate feedback from stores, incorporating adjustments in future allocations. Ensure timely and accurate communication of floorset and transfer information to stores.
    • Analyze and understand size-selling patterns in order to distribute product efficiently by size. Make recommendations to the buying team on the appropriate size curves for seasonal buys.
