    The anticipated wage for this position is $75,000-95,000 annually.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Our merchandising and planning team seeks someone to help take our brands to the next level. We are searching for someone who can use data to inform decisions and understand the puzzle that is Merchandise Demand Planning.

    As the Merchandise Demand Planner and Allocator, you will create and maintain product plans and update forecasts to measure success within the business.  You will be responsible for tracking key metrics to support your point of view on the current in-season business and the impact on the pre-season business. The Planner will also collaborate with key stakeholders such as Merchandising, Finance, Sales, Allocations, Logistics, and Operations to execute the business's needs.

    We are looking for a candidate with a positive mindset who can be proactive and anticipate obstacles within the business. This role has the unique opportunity to own the North America business and gain international experience with work in partnership with other markets. This role will report to the Director of Planning and support North America DTC/Wholesale and Europe DTC.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Create Omni-Channel plans and forecasts to support strategic initiatives for the region and brands between Direct To Consumer and Wholesale.
    • Collaborate with merchandising, sales, and allocation teams to determine the inventory flow to align with the brand strategy.
    • Give a point of view during the assortment-building process by using data at the product level to inform the Merchant and Sales teams.
    • Manage the inventory composition between our distribution centers in the US and CA.
    • Place Purchase Orders for the NA Brands to hit Sales Expectations between Wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels.
    • Analyze product lifecycles and determine disposition based on inventory, SKUs, and distribution.
    • Responsible for creating and maintaining financial plans for both pre-season and in-season
    • Build and present business models for assortment scenarios of added distribution.
    • Create an Open To Buy Template and process to inform Direct To Consumer channels
    • Use key metrics and reports to asses risks and opportunities with forecast accuracy, sell-thru, inventory stock levels, sales trends, and margin rates.
    • Communicate with cross-functional partners to align on inventory investments.
    • Identify products to be used in specific to liquidation
    • Work with all Fenix brands to execute daily product allocations incorporating seasonal strategies to meet account fulfillments and requested shipping dates.
    • Manage daily inventory levels to protect preseason orders, bulk order types, and maximize physical stock for reorders.
    • Coordinate all daily inventory allocations and reservations across Fenix brands.
    • Help test and implement new allocations/reservations tracking and fulfillment programs.
    • Monitor and analyze delivery dates, product arrivals, and other objectives to maximize fulfillment as well as in-stock levels.

    WHO YOU ARE

    Education and Experience:

    • You have at least three years of experience in merchandising or planning in retail or wholesale
    • You have experience in inventory management

    Skills and knowledge:

    • You are passionate about the outdoors and have an authentic enthusiasm toward Fenix Outdoors’ family of brands
    • You are highly skilled in retail math
    • You have an analytical mindset and can reliably validate and manipulate data
    • You have advanced skills in Excel, can work with Power BI, and are comfortable with Microsoft suite of software
    • You communicate effectively in a team structure
    • You efficiently multi-task and prioritize to meet key deadlines between seasons
    • You cultivate curiosity about the business and take initiative to drive improvements
