Mental Health Technician observes and assists assigned mental health patients and helps with daily living activities, therapeutic activities, and socialization. Responsible for the overall maintenance of a therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit and to ensure the safety of patents and staff. Being a Mental Health Technician attends and participates in group therapy, in-service education, and staff meetings. Records information about patients including vital signs, weight, and demeanor. Additionally, Mental Health Technician may communicate with patients family as needed. Typically requires an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a registered nurse (rn) or other supervisor. The Mental Health Technician works under moderate supervision.     Position Overview: 

    The Fleet Maintenance Technician performs many organizational and management tasks to monitor, maintain, and improve MRWH transportation processes.

    Job Duties: 

    • Scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicles.
    • Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed.
    • Managing vehicle licensure and registration.
    • Manage vehicle insurance claims.
    • Ensuring all fleet employees have proper licensure, up-to-date training and no infractions that would prohibit insurance coverage.
    • Monitoring Drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practices.
    • Ensure consistent and accurate completion of trip logs for each vehicle.
    • Provide training to employees on the proper completion of vehicle trip logs.
    • Track individual vehicle usage (mileage) by department/purpose.
    • Maintain approved fuel card users.
    • Monitor fuel card use compared to vehicle mileage to ensure appropriate fuel usage. 
    • Providing reports to management on budgeting, vehicle schedules, maintenance, and fleet progress.
    • Recommends to supervisor vehicles to expand and/or enhance the fleet.
    • Developing methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency.
    • Performs duties such as painting, moving equipment or furniture, carpentry, masonry, electrical, woodwork, grounds keeping. and plumbing in all MRWH facilities.
    • Responds to Work Orders submitted by MRWH employees. 
    • Must travel to all MRWH facilities as needed. 
    • Reports to Facility Maintenance Manager. 
    • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

    Minimum Qualifications: 

    Knowledge and skills necessary to perform these duties and responsibilities are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, automotive technology, or another relevant field OR high school graduation/GED and a combination of relevant experience and/or education equaling at least two (2) years. Other education and experience may be considered. Depending on the needs of the role, some candidates may be required to have a Commercial Driver’s License or other relevant vehicle or machine operator’s license.
