Mental Health Clinician (LCSW/PCC) provides clinical mental health counseling and case management services to patients. Conducts patient assessments, coordinates services, and provides individual therapy to help patients make positive behavior changes. Being a Mental Health Clinician (LCSW/PCC) coordinates with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement a holistic treatment plan. Requires a master's degree in psychology or equivalent. Additionally, Mental Health Clinician (LCSW/PCC) requires certification as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Typically reports to a manager. Mental Health Clinician (LCSW/PCC)'s years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.     Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Regional Mental Health Clinician position. This position is located at our Southeast Regional Office in Boca Raton, FL.

    The Mental Health Clinician provides clinical support to our residents and serves as a key member of the interdisciplinary care team. The clinician will provide individual therapy services, behavioral health assessments, care planning, and behavioral intervention to the independent-living population within the designated region.

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

    • Masters or doctoral degree in psychology and/or social work with specialized expertise in geriatrics

    • Minimum of three years' experience as a licensed behavioral health clinician providing assessment and psychotherapy services

    • Maintains a state license as a mental health services provider (i.e. Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Psychologist)

    • Eligible for National Provider Identification Number AND credentialing as a behavioral health clinician by Medicare and other third-party payers

    • Board certification in geriatrics and experience in serving people living with dementia is preferred

    Pay Range

    $64,000.00 - $78,500.00 / year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
