Mental Health Clinician (LCSW/PCC) provides clinical mental health counseling and case management services to patients. Conducts patient assessments, coordinates services, and provides individual therapy to help patients make positive behavior changes. Being a Mental Health Clinician (LCSW/PCC) coordinates with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement a holistic treatment plan. Requires a master's degree in psychology or equivalent. Additionally, Mental Health Clinician (LCSW/PCC) requires certification as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Typically reports to a manager. Mental Health Clinician (LCSW/PCC)'s years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Qualifications:
Must meet the minimum licensing requirements outlined by the State Board of Examiners in Social Work and Marriage and Family Counseling, Licensed Professional Counselors, or the Mississippi State Board of Psychology. Experience working with mental health patients and families is preferred but not required. Possession of a valid Mississippi Driver's License and vehicle insurance. Must pass a criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.
