Mental Health Clinician (LCSW/PCC) jobs in Idaho
Mental Health Clinician (LCSW/PCC) provides clinical mental health counseling and case management services to patients. Conducts patient assessments, coordinates services, and provides individual therapy to help patients make positive behavior changes. Being a Mental Health Clinician (LCSW/PCC) coordinates with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement a holistic treatment plan. Requires a master's degree in psychology or equivalent. Additionally, Mental Health Clinician (LCSW/PCC) requires certification as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Typically reports to a manager. Mental Health Clinician (LCSW/PCC)'s years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. We are currently seeking a per diem Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Idaho State Correctional Center located in Kuna, Idaho.
The Licensed Mental Health Clinician provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.
Qualifications
- Active LAMFT, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, LCPC, or LPC license in Idaho
- Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required
- Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
