Men's Athletics Director directs all facets of a university/college's men's athletic program, including intramural and intercollegiate sports. Manages the entire men's coaching staff. Being a Men's Athletics Director schedules use of facilities, transportation, and sporting events. Also responsible for fundraising, publicity, ticket pricing and distribution, and purchase of new equipment. Additionally, Men's Athletics Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Men's Athletics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. SUMMARY
The Associate Director of Athletics will assist the Executive Director of Athletics with formulation and administration of policies pertaining to intercollegiate athletics. This position will represent the Department of Athletics within the district, with the conference, and with national organizations. This role will assist with supervision and evaluation of department staff and be responsible for sport oversight for select sports within the athletic department.
