Job Title: Administrative Assistant to the Assistant Dean, School of Education
Reporting Structure: Assistant Dean, School of Education
Division: College of Arts and Humanities
Job Summary: Serve as the executive-level administrative assistant to the Assistant Dean of the School of Education. Provide professional, efficient, high-qualfty administrative support in a fast moving, detail-oriented environment where diplomacy and customer service are paramount.
Duties and responsibilities are subject to modification at the discretion of the Assistant Dean of the
School of Education.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide executive level support to the Assistant Dean
- Manages and prepares responses for email, letters and other communications for the and Assistant Dean's Office
- Manages, implements, and coordinates the School of Education and Assistant Dean's Office operations
- Manage and process monthly reports related to assigned budget for Assistant Deans Office
- Serves as a liaison between Assistant Dean, Leadership, and students.
- Prepares, coordinates and develops presentation materials and reports for School of Education wide presentations.
- Creates and maintains cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership success.
- Oversees ln administration of Assistant Deans Office and/or cross-functional projects and initiatives, as assigned.
- Focused on departmental coordination and administration, communications, and strategic planning.
- Composes and distributes meeting agendas, minutes, routine correspondences-and processes to streamline operations.
- Collaborates with and directs 1T team leaders to support and prioritize departmental needs.
- Maintain the calendar of Assistant Dean
- Provide administrative support to the division as needed.
- Receive inquiries from faculty, staff and students and respond to these inquiries in a timely, professional, and positive manner
- Other duties may be assigned
