Member Services Director directs and coordinates all aspects of the health maintenance organization (HMO) member services department. Plans and directs policies and objectives for addressing member inquiries. Being a Member Services Director establishes service quality goals for the department and implements strategies to meet these goals. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Member Services Director typically reports to top management. The Member Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. The Social Services Aide assists in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing social service programs. Must assure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis; safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of all residents of the facility. The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
