Meeting/Event Planner plans and organizes live or virtual meetings and events for an organization or external clients. Implements an event strategy to achieve objectives. Being a Meeting/Event Planner researches and recommends event venues. Coordinates meeting logistics, including attendee registration, transportation, accommodations, meals, and technology. Additionally, Meeting/Event Planner conducts rehearsals and system checks of all equipment and connectivity. Researches and maintains relationships with vendors for event support services. Coordinates budget planning and ensures that events stay within cost projections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Meeting/Event Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The Production Planner is responsible for planning for stock, specials, new tool introduction, and assisting with updating information in the ERP system. The position frequently communicates with Manufacturing Teams regarding planned production and reducing slow moving inventory while maintaining/increasing service level and overall inventory turns. This individual reviews production schedules against demand to determine when expedited requests need to be initiated. The Production Planner reports to our Manager of Production.
