Medical Technologist - Hematology jobs in Vermont

The incumbent will be either a Nurse Practitioner or Physican Assistant.

Nurse Practitioner Education:

• Registered nurse who has successful completed a formal education program approved by the Vermont Board of Nursing or state or national accrediting agency which prepares nurses to function in advanced nursing practice. Must also be certified by national certifying agency recognized by the Vermont State Board of nursing
• The NP role is a bargaining unit position.

Physician Assistant Education:

• Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program. Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred
• Certification by national Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants required
• Must be licensed by the Vermont Board of Medical Practice

Experience:

• 1-2 years experience in thrombosis and/or hemostasis clinical care preferred
• Previous experience as an Advanced Practice Provider preferred

Knowledge/Special skills:

• Working knowledge of patient care in hemostasis or thrombosis preferred. Individual expected to maintain and improve clinical knowledge and skills. BLS certification required.

Salary:

• Nurse Practitioner: $56.90 - $75.81/hour. Bargaining unit position.
• Physician Assistant: $59.11 - $79.80/hour.
