Medical Technologist (ASCP) performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing. Being a Medical Technologist (ASCP) analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. Requires a bachelor's degree and must be a certified medical technologist. Additionally, Medical Technologist (ASCP) typically reports to a manager or supervisor. Position Summary:
Performs diagnostic radioactive isotope imaging procedures on patients of all ages (neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics), prepares radioactive compounds, administers radioactive compounds and operates scanning equipment.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
High School graduate or equivalent. Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.
Registry eligible for NMTCB CNMT or ARRT (N). Must acquire within one year of employment.
