Job Description:
We are looking for a FT/PT (estimated 32 hours per week) Certified Medical Technologist to join our team. You must be proficient in microscope cell identification and counting. Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures recognizing deviation from expected results, analyze and correct problems using scientific principles, and assist in embryology lab.
Responsibilities:
· Record and statistically evaluate quality control tests
· Making judgements concerning results and taking appropriate action to maintain accuracy
· Accurately maintain written and electronic records
· Prepare/decontaminate lab space
· Assisting in embryology lab
Qualifications:
· Familiar with CLIA and OSHA requirements with the ability to ensure laboratory compliance
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field
· Certification as a Medical Technologist by the America Society of Clinical Pathologists
(ASCP) or National Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory Personnel (NCA)
· Experience in a laboratory setting
· Strong organizational skills
