Medical Staff Credentialing Supervisor oversees day-to-day activities of staff that process credentialing and recredentialing applications for medical providers. Ensures that applications are properly verified and accurately uploaded into an online credentialing database system. Being a Medical Staff Credentialing Supervisor administers system for tracking license and certification expirations to ensure renewals are submitted in a timely fashion.     Our company is looking for a Credentialing Associate, that enjoys the work they do, to join our team to work with our in-house credentialing department. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, but fun, environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Verify the credentials, licenses, and certifications of healthcare providers.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of healthcare providers' qualifications.
    • Coordinate with other departments and staff members to ensure that the credentialing process runs smoothly.
    • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
    • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
    • Manages physician and facilities inquiries and required paperwork needed at each facility
    • Maintain database of existing and potential candidates
    • Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
    • Provide customer service in a professional manner.
    • Assist with other office tasks as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in healthcare administration, credentialing, or a related field.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and outlook.
    • Eye for detail.
    • The ability to meet deadlines.
    • The ability to communicate complex data in a clear way.
    • The ability to prioritize projects.
    • Customer service skills.
    • Excellent data entry skills.
    • Self-motivated and ability to recognize when something needs to be done.
    • Maintain up to date records.
