Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• You will organize, manage, and direct operation of the Medical Staff Office.
• You will coordinate medical staff activities and acts as liaison between medical staff, nursing staff and administration.
• You will be responsible for preparation, organization and follow-up necessary to assure maintenance of hospital accreditation and licensure as related to medical staff. Directs medical staff credentialing process.
• You will educate and direct medical staff officers and committee chairs to assure compliance with medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations.

What qualifications you will need:

• CPMSM certification preferred but required within 2 years of accepting position.
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• At least five years related experience with supervisory experience preferred. Excellent typing and computer skills (70 wpm).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be proficient in Word, Excel, database management software, and use of the Internet.
