Is responsible to assist in the implementation, provision and coordination of social services offered to patients in the medical center. Required Education for Staff Job Levels | Graduate of an accredited university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. Licensed as a social worker in ND ( LSW) or in the process of obtaining license within 6 months. Until license is received will work as a social work designee in accordance with ND Board of Social Work Practice Requirements. |
Required Minimum Experience | Minimum of 1-2 years of supervised social work working directly with individuals. |
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Strong listening, oral and written communication skills are important. Ability to operate computer, maintain records and develop reports. Ability to manage conflict effectively and develop positive interpersonal working relationships with others, both within the department and with staff in other departments. Must be able to relate well with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare professionals throughout the medical center. |
