Class Primary Summary: The School Attendance Secretary/Secondary classification performs a wide variety of administrative support duties with emphasis on maintaining attendance records. Duties may include public contact, typing and preparing letters or documents using various software applications, entering data into school or department systems and applications, keeping clerical records, logs, ledgers, and related documents and working within District specific processes and procedures. The position is differentiated from the School Secretary/Secondary position by the emphasis on maintaining attendance records, documents, and reports although the position and cross trains into other duties. The position may also supervise student aides. The principal duties of this class are performed in a general office environment.
