Additionally, Medical Secretary requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Medical Secretary works under moderate supervision. POSITION SUMMARY: In collaboration with the health care team, the Nursing Clerkcoordinates the receptionist and clerical functions and activities of the department. The clerk is responsible for the accurate transcription of physician's orders, while managing the patient documentation systems. The clerk is generally the first contact in public relations for the nursing department. Demonstrates the ability to facilitate communication between healthcare team members, to prioritize and coordinate patient care transcription and is sensitive to the needs of patients, families and fellow coworkers.
Minimum Qualifications:
