Medical Secretary - Home Care jobs in Iowa
Medical Secretary - Home Care provides secretarial support to clinical staff in a home care environment. Performs various secretarial and clerical duties, such as typing reports and correspondence, transcribing written notes, maintaining records and files, answering phones, and arranging clinician schedules. Being a Medical Secretary - Home Care may be responsible for entering clinician charges into medical billing system. Requires knowledge of medical terms and vocabulary. Additionally, Medical Secretary - Home Care requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Medical Secretary - Home Care possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for all administrative functions throughout our office. You will work directly with clients, their families, nursing and direct care staff, and our administrative team to ensure that all services are delivered. This position will be our front facing individual to those coming into our office so high customer service skills are required. This position is responsible for ensuring our office is well organized, welcoming, and functioning at its highest.
You will also be a back up to provide direct care services to our clients. Previous CNA is preferred as you will be providing showers, assisting with transfers, etc.
