Medical Scribe acts as an assistant during the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Documents and gathers information during the treatment process. Being a Medical Scribe organizes healthcare data to provide better service and efficiency of clinical care. Typically requires an associate degree. Additionally, Medical Scribe may require certification as a Medical Scribe by the American College of Clinical Information Managers (ACCIM). Typically reports to a physician. The Medical Scribe works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Position Highlights:

- We are seeking a new team member to work 4 days per week. Our clinic is open Monday – Friday and Saturday morning. Approximately every 8th Saturday morning rotation. No evenings, nights or holidays.

Job Summary
- Perform general nursing care to patient
- Greet patients and prepare them for physical examinations. Obtain height/weight, blood pressure and medical history information.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Observe, record and report patient's condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to the provider.
Education and/or Experience
- Medical Assistant Certification or LPN licensure
- Previous clinic experience preferred
