Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our NIM Longevity team. As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with Dr. Koganski, documenting patient encounters, managing medical records, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

Dr. Koganski is dual board-certified and a Phila Magazine Top Doctor, who will mentor and develop the Medical Scribe to understand Functional Medicine and Longevity Medicine principles. The Medical Scribe will learn by working with Dr. Koganski, as well as our Dietician-Nutritionist and Health Coach.

Responsibilities:

• Record Keeping: Document patient histories, physical examinations, diagnoses, lab/test results, and treatment plans during physician-patient interactions
• Transcription: Accurately transcribe verbal communication into electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Assist Physician: Support Dr. Koganski by organizing patient data, managing paperwork and facilitating efficient workflows
• Maintain Confidentiality: Handle sensitive patient information with utmost confidentially and adhere to HIPPA guidelines
• Collaborate: Work closely with healthcare providers, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care

Qualifications:

• At least an Associate Degree; Bachelor degree preferred in a healthcare related major
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in using EHR systems (experience with eClinical Works ECW software a plus)
• Ability to type and take dictation accurately and grammatically at 60 WPM or higher
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor

NIM Longevity is a private practice located in Langhorne, PA with a physician, nurse practitioner, dietician and health coach. We provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to primary care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
