The Medical Scribe works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. - Code medical services, treatments and diagnosis
- Submit claims
- Work on claims rejections and denials
- Verify insurance information
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Previous experience as a medical biller and coding
- Must have experience in medical billing, filing claims, and appealing denials
- Fluent in medical billing terminology.
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding, medical billing, medical coding, and medical collections
- Experience with Insurance Verification
- Ability to work as a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Education-high school diploma or GED.
- Full time and in person
- Must be bilingual
