- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear or ambiguous dictations
- Utilize medical reference materials to verify terminology and abbreviations
- Manage and organize electronic files of transcribed reports
Requirements:
- Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and documentation requirements
- Excellent listening skills to accurately transcribe recorded dictations
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transcriptions
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficient computer skills, including word processing software and transcription software
