We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. Duties:
- Listen to recorded dictations from healthcare professionals and transcribe them into written reports
- Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy, grammar, and clarity
- Ensure that transcribed reports adhere to established formatting and documentation guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear or ambiguous dictations
- Utilize medical reference materials to verify terminology and abbreviations
- Manage and organize electronic files of transcribed reports

Requirements:
- Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and documentation requirements
- Excellent listening skills to accurately transcribe recorded dictations
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transcriptions
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficient computer skills, including word processing software and transcription software

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.48 per hour
