Medical Records Transcriptionist transcribes medical dictation by physicians and other medical practitioners pertaining to patients assessment, diagnostics, therapy, and other medical reports. Understands medical terminology and the use of transcription software and equipment. Being a Medical Records Transcriptionist requires a high school diploma. May require Registered Healthcare Documentation Specialist (RHDS). Additionally, Medical Records Transcriptionist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Medical Records Transcriptionist works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. JOB TYPE : Full-time; Independent Contractor; MUST be a U.S. citizen.
TRANSCRIPTION / SPECIALTY TYPE : Hospital Transcription ; Multi-specialty & Acute Care
RESPONSIBILITIES : Transcribe Hospital, Multi-specialty, and Acute Care documentation.
SCHEDULE : Immediate Full-time openings for Multi-specialty & Acute Care MT’s. Currently have openings for 1st (7am-3pm), 2nd (3pm-11pm), and 3rd (11pm-7am) shift.
Schedules are Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS : High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year of recent acute care transcription experience.
Previous eScription experience is a plus. NO OFFSHORE APPLICANTS.
JOB REQUIREMENTS : Computer and a high-speed Internet connection. Home office set-up.
Hardware / Software : Word 2013 or higher. Windows Vista (no Windows XP or 7).
