Medical Records Clerk | Tulsa, OK

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 DOE

Job Description:

Under minimal supervision, assists with organizing, and processing all incoming and outgoing patient information. Ensures all uploaded documents are completed in EMR charts. Files, locates, retrieves, and delivers medical records as assigned. This position will also be cross trained on switchboard to help cover incoming clinic calls from time to time. 

Education:

• High School or GED
• Associates degree in Health Information Management, Health Administration, or related field preferred. 

Experience:

• Excellent Customer service and high level of courtesy and professionalism required.  
• communication skills written and verbal, prioritizing, information collecting and monitoring, 
• attention to detail and accuracy, flexibility, and self-motivated. 
• three years of experience in hospital or clinical setting required, preferably in a medical records department. 
• Maintains confidentiality of all staff and patient information
• May be cross trained in other areas to meet the needs of the business.
