Job Summary

We are looking for a Records Coordinator to join our medical records team. This is an entry-level position with the opportunity for advancement for the right individual. If you have an eye for detail, and thrive in a collaborative team environment, we want to hear from you!

This role will assist the Records team with a wide range of tasks from start to finish. The Records Coordinator role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced environment. This role will primarily be responsible for ensuring all delivery deadlines are met and all records files meet/exceed our physicians/experts’ expectations. We are seeking self-starters with outstanding customer service skills who love checking things off their to-do list.

Responsibilities

• Accurately sorting and organizing medical records and legal documents based on each individual experts’ preferences
• Printing, scanning, and shipping medical records to ensure all delivery deadlines are met
• Tracking file progress and completing data entry within case management system
• Following HIPAA privacy and security policies and procedures
• Providing feedback and ideas to increase workflow efficiency and improve internal processes
• Perform all other related duties and projects as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

This position seeks an individual with a combination of the following skills and behaviors:

• Communicates clearly and concisely verbally and in writing
• High school degree, or equivalent
• Previous experience working in the Medical Records Department
