Medical Records Research Coordinator is responsible for organizing and overseeing the record keeping activities pertaining to releasing and retrieving medical records for research projects. Ensures all medical records are tracked and released according to HIPAA guidelines. Being a Medical Records Research Coordinator may require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Medical Records Research Coordinator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Who we are: Very busy Rheumatology Practice with 5 locations in Willow Grove, Jenkintown, Huntingdon Valley, Langhorne, and Doylestown.
We are seeking one Medical Records Coordinator to be stationed at one primary office with the flexibility to travel to other office locations as needed.
This position is for a full time (40 hour work week) employee; the shift is 8:30am - 5pm, Monday-Friday.
1 year of relevant Medical Records experience required.
1 year of relevant Chart prep experience encouraged but not required.

Job Responsibilities include:
-Scanning documents using EMR system
-Handle 200 incoming faxes daily

-Handle schedule prep for multiple providers
