Join HALO Breast Care Center as a full time Health Information Representative with a Monday-Friday and 8am - 5pm schedule, located at our outpatient imaging center in Chico. Our ideal candidate is bilingual with at least 1 year of recent medical office experience in medical records and coordinating with a team of medical professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Compile, process, and maintain medical records of patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the health care system.
• Protect the security of medical records to ensure that confidentiality is maintained, and follows HIPAA guidelines, and other compliance guidelines.
• Release information to persons or agencies according to regulations.
• Well organized.
• Responds to requests for medical records; processes letters and reports; answers and directs telephone calls.
