**An elegant nursing home located in Piketon, OH is currently looking for a Central Supply/Medical Records Clerk **

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be computer savy
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• Must have LTC experience
• Must be disciplined, driven and attentive to detail
• Must be able to read or quickly pick up reading clinical charts
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record programs preferred
• Unpack and stock delivery of supplies

Duties:

• Responsible to compile, process & accurately account for all medical records on each individual resident
• Protect the security of medical records to ensure that confidentiality is maintained
• Verify accuracy and accessibility of files
• Maintain electronic health records databases
• Maintain data on patient safety, patterns of disease, and disease treatment and outcome
• Release necessary information to persons and agencies according to regulations
• Responsible for auditing and thinning all medical charts

• Distribute medical/nursing supplies throughout the facility
• Maintain stock of all items and place orders for supplies as necessary
