Unit Clerk (Med Records) position currently available at our Lutheran Home Campus. This position is responsible for providing a wide range of secretarial, administrative and medical records support to the nursing unit such as:

• Coordinate with physicians, nursing staff, patients, families, and other departments in relation to patient care
• Assist with coordinating patient appointments, transportation, transfers, and discharges
• Receive, analyze, process and maintain both paper and electronic charts
• Perform secretarial and administrative duties on nursing units

Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Unit clerk or similar experience is required. Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel). Prior experience working in a nursing home or hospital setting is strongly preferred. Must be a customer service professional and highly organized.
