Being a Medical Librarian Assistant organizes and shelves materials and prepares new materials for circulation. May perform data entry to update library systems. Additionally, Medical Librarian Assistant may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Medical Librarian Assistant works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. General Description:
The Medical Assistant, as a member of the Emergency Department team, is responsible for ensuring that timely and safe care of the highest quality is available to all patients in the Emergency Departments. S/he provides safe, prudent, economical patient care in compliance with GRMC standards of nursing care. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate and explain required information to patients. Promotes and adheres to all regulatory and safety standards; OSHA. Maintains required certifications and core competencies.
