Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. The Medical Assistant will provide essential support to healthcare professionals in a hospital setting. Responsibilities: - Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing and insurance claims. - Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and collecting specimens. - Administer medications under the direction of healthcare professionals. - Perform basic life support procedures as needed. - Assist with X-rays and other diagnostic procedures. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. - Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and protocols. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care. Experience: - Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required. - Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. - Familiarity with hospital procedures and protocols. - Proficiency in medication administration techniques. - Basic life support certification is a plus. Skills: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. - Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients. - Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
