Helps with computer searches, inter-library loans, cataloging, circulation, general reference and questions about library services. Being a Medical Librarian Assistant organizes and shelves materials and prepares new materials for circulation. May perform data entry to update library systems. Additionally, Medical Librarian Assistant may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. We are a pediatrics practice in north Peoria looking for a full time Medical Assistant. The position will primarily be back office, but we do cross train so that everyone is comfortable working in all areas of the office as needed, including back office, front office, and scheduling. You must be a certified/registered Medical Assistant. You must be comfortable handling and administering vaccines, and efficient with vaccine documentation and record keeping. Organization, verbal and interpersonal skills are a must. We use electronic medical records, so computer skills are very important. The medical assistant will work closely with the providers and patients. We care about our staff and it shows in their long term history with the practice. We need someone that is a reliable team player with a positive and outgoing personality. At this time we would prefer applicants with a minimum of 6 months experience.
