Medical Director plans and directs all aspects of an organization's medical policies, standards, and programs. Responsible for strategic clinical relationships with physicians and interns. Being a Medical Director ensures all clinical programs are in compliance with all applicable regulations. Researches and studies current medical publications and data on new treatments and practices to ensure high quality clinical service offerings. Additionally, Medical Director advises non medical management on clinical and patient related matters and policies. Requires a MD degree. Typically reports to top management. The Medical Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. To be a Medical Director typically requires 8+ years of managerial experience.     We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team. As the Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all medical aspects of our organization. You will provide leadership, guidance, and expertise in medical management, utilization management, and clinical research. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital administration, managed care, and clinical trials.

    Responsibilities:
    - Develop and implement medical policies, procedures, and standards to ensure high-quality patient care
    - Provide medical oversight and guidance to healthcare professionals within the organization
    - Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement strategies for improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs
    - Participate in clinical research activities and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical technology and treatment options
    - Manage the utilization of healthcare resources to ensure optimal patient care and cost-effectiveness
    - Oversee budgeting and financial planning for medical services
    - Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice
    - Collaborate with external stakeholders such as insurance providers, government agencies, and community organizations

    Requirements:
    - Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
    - Board certification in a relevant specialty
    - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a healthcare organization
    - Strong knowledge of anatomy, clinical research, and medical management principles
    - Experience in managing clinical trials is highly desirable
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    - Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
    - Proficient in budgeting and financial management
