In this role, the Medical Director (MD) will provide a variety of animal healthcare duties in the hospital, as well as management, mentorship, and career development for veterinarian staff.
Moreover, this individual will ensure the regulatory compliance of the animal hospital as well as develop, approve, and maintain veterinary standards of care for all patients. The Medical Director (MD) is also responsible for ensuring an environment of positive teamwork among hospital staff. Active and productive collaboration between staff members is critical to the success of this position! The MD understands they will wear many hats and will be passionate about clinical excellence, leadership, recruiting, retention and advocating for the growth of Mission Veterinary Partners (MVP).
