We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Medical Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dual board-certified in psychiatry and addiction medicine, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to guide our medical team and contribute to the overall success of our addiction treatment programs.

Requirements

In order to be considered for the Medical Director position, you will need:

• Not required but preferred- Dual board certification in psychiatry and addiction medicine.
• Active medical license in KS.
• Demonstrated experience in addiction medicine and psychiatry, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely completion of admission physicals, annual physicals, medical histories, laboratory testing consistent with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards and sound medical practice
• Review appropriate laboratory results as well as medical documentation from other healthcare providers and manage each patient according to established best practice and accrediting and regulatory guidelines
• Prescribe and titrate the appropriate dosage of medications (including all forms of medically assisted treatment) consistent with the patient’s medical and addiction history
• Write medical orders based upon the individual needs of the patient. Review medical therapy and document those activities in the patient’s chart
• Manage the timely completion of documentation and professional staff reports ensuring compliance and reporting responsibilities are met.

Pay: $70,000 - $80,000

Schedule: As Needed- Remote
