1. Job purpose

Committed to pushing the boundaries of diagnostic capabilities, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Instrument Service Technician to join our team. This role involves the repair and troubleshooting of PCR diagnostic devices, contributing to the seamless functioning of our innovative instruments.

As an Instrument Service Technician specializing in PCR diagnostic devices, you will be a vital member of our technical team, responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our instruments. Your expertise in repairing and troubleshooting PCR diagnostic devices will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of our products.

2. Duties and responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain PCR diagnostic devices, adhering to manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct detailed troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime for end-users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and product specialists, to address complex technical challenges and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Keep accurate records of service activities, including repairs, parts replacement, and maintenance procedures, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support to customers, both remotely and on-site, ensuring clear communication and effective issue resolution.
• Stay updated on advancements in PCR diagnostic technology, attend relevant training sessions, and contribute insights to enhance service processes.

3. Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Technician with expertise in repairing PCR diagnostic devices.
• In-depth knowledge of PCR technology and the ability to interpret technical documentation and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in the context of PCR diagnostic instruments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
