Medical Billing Supervisor jobs in Nashua, NH

DMC Primary Care seeks a full-time Medical Billing Specialist in our Windham, New Hampshire billing office. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who wants to be an important member of our team.  Please note that this is not a remote position.

Essential Functions:

The medical billing specialist promotes revenue integrity for DMC’s professional services by reviewing all charges for services. This position is also responsible for the accurate and timely claim submission to all commercial healthcare insurances, governmental payers, and third-party agencies as appropriate. Additionally, this position will perform any follow up activities directly with payers and patients to resolve any submission issues, delays, payment variations, or denials in order to ensure appropriate reimbursement is received in a timely, confidential, and compliant manner.

Qualifications/Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of medical collections or professional billing experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical coding systems such as CPT and ICD 10 strongly preferred
•  Basic computer skills and data entry skills required 
• Medical terminology certificate preferred
• Medical billing and coding certifications desired
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude 
• Strong oral and written communications skills
