Medical Billing Specialist

The Imagine team is a growing company, and we are inviting a motivated Medical Billing Specialist to join our talented team! This candidate will work directly within our software, completing a variety of back-end billing work. This role is ideal for a candidate who is detail-oriented, highly motivated and who can quickly and efficiently solve client-related billing issues.

Essential Duties

• Work with concierge team members to deliver results, on time to clients
• Complete back-end billing work in Imagine Billing for a variety of clients including appeal denials, follow up, working the ticklers queue, and payment posting back up
• Provide excellent customer service in all interaction with clients
• Train clients as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

• 5 years of hands-on billing experience

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with internal and external customers
• Understanding of medical billing industry and workflow, best practices
• Ability to work well out of a home office
• Proficient in Imagine Billing product suite
• Ability to present, train and speak to clients
• Detail Oriented
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Work Environment

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Up to 5% travel to company or client sites may be required.
